IT Battle (working title) is an interactive fiction with the ambition to teach you about the basics of IT security. You play as an old-school, fast-fingered hacker soon to embark on a dangerous yet edifying quest, exploring a world where god-tier terminal commands like "take all passwords" are completely valid and at the same time, you can learn some valuable lessons about keeping safe and secure in our sometimes frightening and always rapidly changing real world. This is a story about protecting sensitive data, social engineering, firewall breaches and much, much more. There is not much content yet as this is only a very small prototype, but the game is in active development :)

The game was written in the Inform 7 IDE.

The player reference is a good starting point if you haven't played interactive fiction games before. On the other hand, there's no harm in just starting the game and experimenting with the command interface. Have fun!

This is a neat concept. I just wanted to suggest maybe adding a help command that links the player reference when the phrase is typed. Personally, I just play browser games to save on storage. Others might be on the same situation. Good luck!
